Copper/Brass jewelry is very special & may patina on it's own.

With proper care you can keep your ring as dark or as shinny as you'd like.

*If you'd like to keep your pieces shiny a polished pad & proper storage will do the trick. The natural oils in our body keep the copper bright so the more you wear your copper jewelry the brighter it will stay.

A patina is used to darken the copper to get a more earthy raw look.
Silver & brass is also left unsealed from any chemicals.

Depending on how the piece was polished, each piece varies in it's own color. Some pieces might be darker/lighter then others.

If you wear copper jewelry you may notice that the ring around your finger Is leaving a green stain. This doesn't mean the metal is cheap, our skins are meant to react to certain metals especially copper + brass, sometimes even silver! The greening on your skin can be easily removed by rubbing some warm water and soap.
Keep in mind that not everyone will react the same to wearing copper jewelry some people never have this issue.
I no longer seal my jewelry with any jewelry sealer, wax or lacquer.
If you would like to prevent your finger from turning green a quick DIY trick is to seal the rim of your ring with clear nail polish or a lacquer from any of your local craft store.

Cleaning your jewelry with home products is fun and simple here are a few options to clean your jewelry at home.

1.) Combine equal parts of lemon juice and baking soda to form a paste and rub the paste on your jewelry. Rinse with warm water & dry thoroughly.

2.) Rinse the piece off with water and dry it thoroughly with a polishing cloth. (sunshine polishing pads from Rio Grande/Amazon work best!)

3.) Rub your jewelry with a small amount of dish soap. Rinse well and dry with a polishing cloth.

Always remember to dry your pieces thoroughly & store them in a jewelry pouch.

US sizes may vary due to the electroforming process, please allow for variations.

Please be certain of your ring size before purchasing. Due to the electroforming process a ring that does not fit can not be re sized.

All copper jewelry is made with 100% recycled copper. E-forming is a metal forming process that can take hours to make, be mindful of our designs and treat your jewelry with care.

Care Instructions for black copper rings. Our copper rings have been oxidized using liver of sulfur. The liver of sulfur gives the copper ring a matte black look. After a while the black copper on the ring will wear off. It will need to be dipped in liver of sulfur again and sealed. C & S can do touch ups for free.
